World Compassion Day

On 28 November 2025, the University of Angers is joining forces with three partner universities of the EU Green European alliance to celebrate World Compassion Day.

By taking part in this day, the alliance reaffirms its commitment to a more supportive future that pays close attention to human issues. Throughout the day, online seminars will be offered, open to students, staff, and the general public, exploring compassion from various perspectives: memory, diversity, and even artificial intelligence.

On this occasion, /Rémy Guyonneau will present the recently certified HATES serious game. The full programme is available online.

Many thanks to the Ponts-de-Cé Media Library for organising this workshop, « Contributing to Wikipedia », led by Sylvain Machefert and Maxime Szczepanski from the University of Angers Library, both contributors to and trainers on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia is an essential resource that people immediately think of consulting, but much less often of enriching.

This workshop helped to demystify the idea of contributing and enabled participants to gain a better understanding and get started with editing.

From October 1st to 21st, follow little Gnosint for the end of its journey.

On January 31st, it left Latvia and hadn’t taken the time to publish the end of its journey.

This has now been fixed with 2 challenges per day for 21 days: 42 photos to geolocate.
